Unfortunately due to the density of wooden hulls Ultrasonic Antifouling will not be effective. Ultrasonic Anti foulgin requires a very solid mono formed (without joins like wooden planks) substrate in order to resonate the Ultrasonic waves throughought. The relatively low density of Wood prevents this and the Ultrasonic waves tend to only carry around a very small area nearest the Transducer.
Ultrasonic Antifouling lends itself best to steel, aluminium and GRP/GFRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic, Glass-Fibre Reinforced Plastic).
